Hannah Barbour
Hannah qualified as a physiotherapist in 2002 from St George's Hospital Medical School and has since worked across NHS and private settings, including Bedford Hospital NHS Trust. She also volunteered as a physiotherapist at the London 2012 Olympic Games, supporting the setup of treatment areas and the Games’ medical teams — a memorable experience that gave her insight into high-performance sport and collaborative clinical work.

She has postgraduate training in acupuncture, Pilates, and manual therapy, with a special interest in rehabilitation for older adults, including recovery from surgery, fractures and other musculoskeletal challenges. Hannah takes a holistic approach, considering each patient’s health, home environment and daily routines. She helps patients build strength, maintain independence and regain confidence, tailoring exercises to be safe, achievable and meaningful, with realistic goal-setting focused on the activities they enjoy.

Hannah also provides home visits for patients with musculoskeletal conditions who are unable to travel to the clinic easily, allowing her to deliver hands-on assessment and rehabilitation in the patient’s own environment. She enjoys teaching physiotherapy-led Pilates, encouraging safe, regular movement for older adults and anyone returning from injury.

She is committed to creating a welcoming, community-focused clinic where patients can access reliable advice, exercise safely and be guided to the right care. She also aims to create a positive, supportive workplace for other practitioners.

Outside work, she is a busy mum of two and enjoys playing netball.
